Established in the year 1988, The Uttaranchal PG College is a private college affiliated to the H.N.B. Garhwal (Central) University and HNB Uttarakhand Medical Education University. Founded as an extension of Guru Nanak Dev Educational Society, the college is approved by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare Government of UK and recognised by the Indian Association of Physiotherapists and the Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi. It is accredited by the NAAC with a grade A. Uttaranchal PG College, Dehradun offers 22 courses across different fields of Science. Admissions are done on the basis of a candidate’s performance in the previous qualifying examination. Its six colleges include College of Paramedical, College of Agro Science, College of Nursing, College of Physiotherapy, College of Life Science and College of Education. The college offers a number of facilities to the students, amongst which are classrooms with LCD projectors, seminar halls and conference halls along with laboratories consisting of modern equipment. The college also has a well-stocked, air-conditioned library with online access to books and journals. In-campus hostel facility is also provided separately for both girls and boys by the college.
